High doses of WOW and/or prolonged use can trigger paranoia. WOW can produce a particularly aggressive paranoid behavior in users. When addicted individuals stop playing WOW, they often become depressed. This also may lead to further WOW use to alleviate depression. WOW-related deaths are often a result of cardiovascular arrest or seizures followed by respiratory arrest.

addiction is not related to game only...... addiction to any form can be disasterous..
eg.
addiction to smoke , drink, girlz () ,pulling bull's tail ,laughing in front of a lion, trying to stop a running truck, pretending to be spiderman and trying to jump from buildings....... thats why wow tips says "Remember to take everything in moderation even world of warcraft".
one way or another people r addicted to one or more from of addictionz. its human behaviour and cant be changed........
