Ventrilo: A Step-By-Step Setup Guide....

First...
Download the client for your OS:
Windows (32-bit): Ventrilo 32-bit
Windows (64-bit): Ventrilo 64-bit
Mac: Ventrilo for Mac

Installation/FAQ/Troubleshooting

If you're like me, a computer savvy person, just dl the client, install it, run it.
At the top of the main Ventrilo window:
Click on the arrow to the right of the User Name field...
Click on the "New" button....
Type the name you want to see in Vent...
Click the "OK" button....
Click "OK" in the Setup User window...
Click the arrow to the right of the Server field...
Click "New" at the top of Connection Editor window...
Type a name you want to identify this server... ( I use "VE Vent")
Click the "OK" button...
In the Hostname or IP field type: 216.6.224.117
In the Port Number field type: 3910
DO NOT enter anything in the Password Field...
Click the "OK" button....

Ready for this? Now click the "Connect" button on the top right of the main Ventrilo window...
See that list of Verus Era Channels?
Double Left-Click a channel to join/move/leave...

To join your Guild's Channel, get the PW from your Guild Leader/Officer
Click the "OK" button in the Channel Password window...

That's It!! You're on Verus Era's Vent! Congratulations!
Now for the best part! Can you hear anyone? Is there anyone else in the channel with you? If there is; Can they hear you?

Here is the Status Monitor...(Notice the Connect Now link...
it works.. you must have Vent closed when clicking...
It will try to connect you automatically to our server..
It will attemp to open Ventrilo and input the Server Connect Info and Connect to our server...

Hey shaggy! I cant log in today, I removed the PW but it still won't let me. Any ideas?
